Our music and dance troupe trainees asked us to share the following messages with you!
“Thank you sooooo much for supporting us! May the almighty reward you for the good work you are doing.”
— Christine Nankinga
“I am happy to tell you that everyone is happy and working hard to be on the tour in 2014. I am in high spirits to meet you next year thanks to your support and the care you express to the Tour of Light dance troupe.”
— Andrew Ntege
“Thank you for your support, love, kindness and cooperation. You must really love us because if it wasn’t for your support, the training could not have gone on…I thank God that there are people who really do think about us.”
— Kellen Nassozi
Did you know a donation of $50 pays for a meal for all of the dance troupe on tour … with any amount you contribute, you help give these children an experience that changes their lives. Your support of Children of Uganda’s 2014 Tour of Light will help make dreams come true for our most talented performing arts students. The Tour of Light not only changes the lives of the children who participate, it is our most successful way of raising both awareness and funds to help support our life-saving work on the ground.
We rely on the generosity of our extended family — people like you — so we can educate, feed, clothe and support all of our children. Every dollar we save in upfront costs for the tour is also a dollar earned for the continued care of our kids. Our music and dance troupe children are training during their holiday breaks and over select weekends in preparation for the start of the tour in January 2014.
If 125 people reading this give just $25 each on behalf of our next tour training, then the cost of feeding the entire dance troupe for 3 weeks would be completely covered. To show your support of our most talented children, click here to make a donation.

We help you give a hand UP to Ugandan children and women in need + share the joy.
Each child who is educated, fed and safe is a strong foundation for peace.
Each self-supporting woman makes a community thrive. Each beat of music carries the joy of a nation.
