Children of Uganda’s sponsors open pathways for orphaned and vulnerable children (OVCs) to access quality education, skills training and livelihood support. The aim of our education and youth program is for each child to mature into socially and economically self-reliant adults who positively impact their communities.
Recently, several kind-hearted individuals answered the call to become sponsors, while others graciously agreed to take on a new child as their current student graduated from the program. The students assigned new full or co-sponsors (some for the very first time) were super excited! Many of the children were called to our office in Kampala to write their first introductory letter to their sponsors and we asked them all how they were feeling.
