Between family vacations, summer camps and fun-in-the-sun, we know this is an especially jam-packed time of year for many of you. And that’s why we are so excited to share that one of our most faithful board members and her husband, Maria and Celso White, are now making it easy for you maximize your time and impact!
The White family has pledged to match – dollar for dollar – every donation we receive from now until July 30th up to $5,000. That’s a $10,000 fundraising potential! And, that’s why we urgently need your support today with a tax-deductible gift – matched 100% for a limited time – of $25, $50, $75 or more.
Thanks to donations from friends like you, our staff recently hand-delivered 2nd term scholastic and personal requirements to our most vulnerable children and teens (as seen pictured above). This included underwear for 36 girls and 22 boys, sanitary napkins for 19 teen girls and other personal requirements (vests, bras, shavers and deodorant) for 35 students in secondary and vocational school.
Although there has been great improvement in guardians providing students with minimum requirements this term, unlike previous years (thanks to economic support from The 100 Women Club), the needs of our students – especially our newest recruits – is a constant priority.
Your tax-deductible gift of $25, $50, or $75 – which will be worth $50, $100 or $150 thanks to the match – helps our team deliver school supplies and personal care items for students, facilitate health check-ups, counseling sessions, home visits and more.
Your continued generosity strengthens the foundation of our work on the ground – improving education for orphans and vulnerable youth, expanding the success of small businesses in impoverished villages and protecting the welfare of abused and neglected children. Our staff and students thank you.
