The 2023 annual guardians’ meetings were held on January 17th at the Daughters of Charity Home in Kiwanga and on January 19th in Kyotera. The events brought together most of our beneficiaries from the different communities in which they live to review COU policies, renew MOUs, honor best student performers and counsel families.
We were pleased by the overall attendance, the discussions were fruitful and all the beneficiaries renewed their MOUs with us. There was a lot of learning and knowledge sharing, as you can see below:
In addition, snacks were passed out during the meeting and afterwards the students and their families were served lunch. This year, we were excited to partner with our womens IGA catering group. Below you can see some of the women washing the plates we rented from the group for the lunch service:
