Bernard is a former Children of Uganda sponsored student and 3-time Tour of Light music and dance troupe performer. He is also the founder of Namunye Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering impoverished children through traditional music, dance and other life-enhancing skills. He credits Children of Uganda with giving him a strong foundation and the inspiration to give back to his community.
Christine Nankinga joined Children of Uganda when she was just two years old. She was also a 2012 and 2014 Tour of Light music and dance troupe member, so you may remember her! Today, Christine is pursuing a career in music and she is grateful for the opportunity to give back through our Legacy of Light holiday fundraiser.
